Molly Malone has been an iconic statue standing in Dublin City Centre since 1988, the bronze statue created by artist Jeanne Rynhart, over the years it has featured in songs and became a huge tourist attraction. For along time now the statue has been continually damaged by people improperly groping parts of the statue. Many people continue to speak out about this and if the issue is not resolved Dublin City Council could move the artwork into a museum. This artwork of Molly Malone was created to be on the street of Dublin for everyone to enjoy, not hid in a building because people cant keep there hands to themselves. We could end up loosing an iconic piece of Dublin history and we believe its time to leave her tits Malone.
